no is more easy derive a component exterior from other file and use assebly like rigid joint? or do a body copy paste convert in component want know why all it I look complex
It really depends on the component and what you are using it for.
It's probably best to use an external components and use joints to control the assembly relationships.
But you can also use joints for internal components as well. The only downside to internal components is you can't use them as easily in other design - but this might not be an issue for your application.
