Hi all. I was wondering what are your opinions and experience using spray sealants on mls gaskets such as cosworth, hks, even OEM. I see some say there is no added benefit and some say theres no draw back but an added safety precaution. I have installed head gaskets using both coatings and dry on different applications and saw no failure either way. What has your experience been?

I've used copper spray and found no advantage over installing the gasket dry, which is my preference. The only caveat here is that if you are reusing a MLS gasket (which is a common practice, even if it's one i wouldn't necessarily recommend), it's a good idea to use a copper sealant spray to ensure the gasket correctly seals oil and water.

Would that also work on a EJ207 engine as well ??
