Hey all, Vega in hand, software installed on my M4 MBP, but the file transfers always fail. I see HP using this in their videos with a MacBook so I assume they got this to work. Is there a work around for this? Einstar has published a win11 work around, but it doesn't really apply to MacOS. I've tried turning all firewalls, Limit IP tracking, etc off, but to no avail.

I haven't had any problems with this using the Star Vision app. Could you attach a screen recording of the process?
The alternative is uploading it to the shining 3D cloud from the Vega and then downloading it.

Thanks! Ive attached a recording of the process, it basically randomly disconnects. My friend had this issue with his on windows, and had to make firewall changes. The cloud is an option, but my internet upload speed kinda sucks so I was trying to avoid that.

Can't say i've had this issue. But looking at the size of your scan files between 4-6GB makes me think they might just be too big. If you look at the scan details on the vega can you see how many triangles/elements they have? I try to keep mine under 5,000,000, I find my computer really struggles if they are over 15,000,000 (but i'm only on an M2 MBP and 16GB of ram) You might just need to remesh or reduce the mesh at a lesser resolution.
