Hi guys, I have a doubt related to how wristpin offset (offset pin) affects the rod to stroke ratio. There is any relation between them?
The rod to stroke ratio is not affected by an offset wrist pin. As it's name implies, the rod to stroke ratio is simply the rod length divided by the stroke. An offset wrist pin is designed to reduce thrust loading and generally can result in an engine that's a little quieter in operation.
