Hi there,
I have a question about the break in process of a nikasil cylinders, like for example the Porsche V8 engines have.
As they are coated and not directly honed, do I have to go through the same procedure for proper piston ring bed in?

my experience with it is not to pamper it i always drove it like normal and have never had an engine use oil and not bed in yet and I've certainly built a lot every year for as long as i can remember
My only advice is don't let it idle in the first 20 min of running keep the revs up around 1500-2000 rpm and above
