Hello,
I got an offer to buy a unused EMS 8860 + CDI box fairly cheap, but i got no experience with this brand.
i understand that this is an older ECU (but so is my MS3)
any opinions on this?
if bought it will power a VW 2.0 16v Turbo in my Audi A4, om megasquirt i do 400whp, but the ms3 have some hiccups later.
hello i dont think you will be making any improvement by doing that the ems is a old unit and in my opinion not a great ecu
i would be upgrading to a newer stand alone like Link motec Haltech etc

think i will go with the Life Racing F88RL with adaptive knock control as an extra option.
the price is hard om the wallet but its from one og the most respected timers in Norway
