Hello, I keep hearing him talk about the common rail diesels will this course imply on any of the Huei trucks? I work on mainly powerstokes like the 6.0 but have been dipping into the new Ford 6.7's and the Cummins just want to make sure I will understand how to tune Huei trucks as well. Thank you.
I would say 85% of the content in the course is very relatable between platforms as far as calibration theory and strategy go. There are some nuances in the 6.0 with the FICM and understanding the relationship between oil pressure and fuel pressure - both of which are not covered, but those are the only outliers that come to mind. You'll certainly get your money's worth on the common rail trucks.
