BMW ePedal for DBW setup wiring

I am using a BMW 3542-6853175 ePedal from a 2016 X5. I will be using this with a Motec ECU and wanted to see if anyone would know the pinout for thew connector. I have found very little online to assist with this part. Connector shown below.

That info would be in a factory service manual. Perhaps you can get a friendly BMW technician to share that page with you.

I found this info, but not sure what year BMW pedal it was for, but you might try testing to see if this matches your pedal.

This info is helpful and continues to confirm my understanding of the pedal wiring.

The only conflicting info I am getting is that the 5VDC and Ground pins flip from different sources. I have a nice bench test setup so I may just wire it up to the bench supply and see what it does to confirm. I will post back my findings.

Using a Multimeter I get the following:

Pin 1 to Pin 5 = 64k,

Pin 2 to Pin 3= 64k,

any other combinations I get either an open or a brief reading that quickly dissipates to open.

The fact that it's not reading like a conventional potentiometer, would lead me to believe it's a contactless design, and I would apply power / ground as specified.

Thank you again for your response, it gave me motivation to prove it out and I confirmed your pinout above (also below) by wiring the pedal to my bench power supply and testing. Below are my findings:

Total current draw is 20mA so even 24ga wire would suffice. There are two distinct circuits 1&2, and each can operate individually.

Output 1 range from 0.7Vdc to 4.5Vdc (idle to max pedal)

Output 2 range from 0.36Vdc to 2.2Vdc (idle to max pedal)

What year 911 are you working on? Mine is a 76 930 3.0 motor.

It's a 1980 Targa with a stock 3.0.
