Hello have you read this quick start guide to check the wiring is correct, when you say it does not start up do you mean it doesn't power up or just does not display data?

dosnt power up, and yes, i have read the quicki, but i did just read the "Haltech support center" that i might need to be updated, but how do i update it if i cant connect to it?
"If your Haltech CAN supported Dash is only showing zero's, please contact Haltech Technical support as your Dash may need to be updated."
You are missing ether the 12v or ground or both that is needed to power up the dash please check this again. As well as the you need the cam + and can - to send the data but these are not needed to be able to power up the dash, they are only to send the data to the dash,
i have both, gound and 12v in the connector at the dash.
I think it maybe time to ask the tech team at motec this dashs don't normally have issues like this
they should be able to help you remotely and through email it is sounding like you have a internal dash issue
