Hi guys, I’ve done a fair bit of searching and haven’t been able to get a result.
I’m currently fitting a haltech nexus r5 and I'm trying to get it to communicate with the cars current Motec sdl3 dash logger, we’ve fitted a spare ic7 dash to get the car onto the track. But the drivers coach would really like to see data in i2 with track mapping so he can help.
I’ve used the CAN templates that Haltech have sent me as well as the matching ones from motec, I’m able to see the CAN diag channel on the live data from the dash and it’s showing 8. Which is apparently can overrun.
I'm a little stumped at this stage, as CAN interpretation is definitely above my pay grade!

Make sure the CAN bus speeds are the same. Double-check CAN Hi/Lo are not backwards (happens more than you think).

8 is typically a CAN Bus speed mismatch.
