I thought I’d share the progress I made as a result of sitting the wiring fundamentals course on here. To start understand that ‘novice’ doesn’t really cover my limited wiring understanding prior to sitting this course.
Upon purchasing a new turbo setup for my vr6 drag car with stand alone, it was quickly apparent that whereas the standalone loom was tidy, the ignition/accessories wiring was a hacked stock loom and a big mess so I decided to throw that away and learn how replace it myself. Enter this course.
Below in the pics you can see the basic sketch as I began to understand what was required, then more of a wiring diagram, followed by the board build, test, mount and finally spinning the engine over in the car.
Just wanted to say a big thanks to HP Academy for the course! I know it’s not professional material but I’m really pleased with the result and more importantly understanding how things work will be such a big help in the future. I’ve just bought the standalone course and can’t wait to get started on that!
