Whats the best way to pass through shielded cable through a mil spec connector. Can you still do a service loop in side the heat shrink boot and not get signal problems.
I wouldn't be afraid of doing so, as any signal that would be picked up be drained to the ground.
The recommended way to do this would be to use a sealed solder splice and splice a 22/24 awg wire to the shielding on the cable itself. Then pin that wire into the connector. HPA has some good videos on YouTube demonstrating the best way to do this.
