Hi all,
I am trying to help a work colleague with an old Hino bus that is wanting to hook up a non factory style tachometer.
He has had the alternator converted to as a star point system. But we are having a lot of trouble finding a tachometer that allows for a star point tachometer input. All the ones we can find are "w" terminal.
Is there any way to be able to run a star point output from the alternator to a "w" terminal input to a tachometer?
Or does anyone know of any tachometers he could buy from an Australian based retailer with an allowance for a star point input?
Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.
