Hey all,
Attempting to wire in my Innovate LC-2 controller to my Megasquirt 3 Pro PNP for my NB Miata, followed all of the instructions on the Ditautotune website, at least to the extent that I could.
Of the two options for wiring you could either wire one analog output from the wideband controller directly into one of the pins for the MS. (Unsure which pin or how to find).
Second option was to splice into the original signal wire for the original O2 harness. So I ran my analog output back through the firewall to the original blue signal wire for the ECU, assuming that this blue wire would indeed feed into the megasquirt anyways. The rest of the original harness was untouched.
From my lack of success(the AFR on TunerStudio is stuck at 10.3), I would assume that my splicing was incorrect and I need to find the correct pin in the ECU. But with every mistake I try to learn why it was a mistake and am struggling on this one!
Appreciate any help!
The Innovate wideband controllers have two outputs, normally one emulates a narrow band sensor for an OEM ECU, and the other output has the full range of lambda/AFR values. Be sure you use the right one (I think it's #2 from memory, but check the manual) -- You can also connect to a serial port and program the LC-2 outputs if you need / want different scaling. It's probably worth doing that so you know what scaling is in the LC-2. That also allows you to confirm what the LC-2 is sending, is what the MS3Pro is receiving/decoding.
