What pins and connector do you use for thermocouple sensor wiring? I feel the std. K-Type connector are not up to the task for motorsport environment.
I found there are special thermocouple pins availible for Autosport AS connectors. Are ther any solution for Deutsch DT or DTM connector? May I use gold contacts? In theory that should influence the measurement, since thermal and electrical conductivity is higher on gold contacts

I know that milspecwiring.com (Motec USA) sells K Type thermocouple contacts listed as being compatible "for use with DTM or MILSPEC connectors that use size 20 terminals".
The mil-spec connectors which they sell are MIL-DTL-26482 Series II connectors, so you may also be able to find a more local source.
