Does it follow these general steps:

1) tune the fuel map at 500rpm intervals until red line (without touching the ignition map)

2) do a full ramp run to keep as a "base run"

3) begin the ignition tuning at this run at 500rpm intervals and perform the MBT tuning technique while comparing each 500rpm increment run with the AFR optimized base run

Is the base run in 2) what you mean at 05:06? If not, can you please clarify?

Is there a reason the torque graph at 05:30 has such a big drop at the centre of the map between 3000-4000rpm? generally, what would cause such a large drop?

while doing full ramp runs after having tuned until 5000rpm, do we add 2-3 degrees of advance only to the 80-100kpa rows or do we add any advance to the cells <5000rpm as well? if so, do we add timing advance by row or by column? my understanding is that we should be adding it by column (RPM) and not row (MAP) as the dyno does not tell us any torque information based on MAP.

1-3, These steps are covered in detail within the 10 step process.

The base run is what we use for comparing our tuning changes later on.

The FA20 suffers from a torque dip as shown. It's likely an aspect of the cams and inlet manifold design.

We add timing only in the 80-100 kpa regions of the map below 5000 rpm as the rest of the

Hi andre. 1-3 are basically what I understood from the 10 step process. can you clarify them for me if my understanding is correct?

is the 'base run' a full ramp run based on solely tuning fuel up to redline before touching the ignition map?

Understood about the FA20 engine

I think your answer for the last question was cut off mate :/

Generalmente respondemos dentro de las 12 horas (a menudo antes)
