Andre mentioned in one of the webinars that he used a CAN decoder to get the can data from the Haltech EGT device. Do you have a name or link to one of those spesific decoders that are any good? Google shows up alot of crap that it would be nice NOT to end up with..
For a simple CAN sniffing tool, these units are very good http://www.vscom.de/vscom-usb-can.html, you can use Busmaster as the Analysis tool as well. http://rbei-etas.github.io/busmaster/ I have been using these tools for a few years now, and haven't had an issue with them.
Our Mainline dyno has a built in CAN decoder that is perfect for simple jobs like decoding the TC4 unit. For mobile applications I've used the products BlackRex mentioned with good results.
