Very informative webinar - Great job as always. We are experiencing the same head lifting issues with a 4G63 methanol powered motor, and really do not want to go the billet route as we are confident we can solve the problem.
We would like to explore the hollow gas ring application. Can you disclose the name of the European company that makes them?
Hi Ryan, thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry but I actually don't have the details on the company I used. I didn't deal direct with the manufacturer but rather through a local supplier in NZ who had them made for us. If I recall correctly I was dealing with Peter from Ralliart NZ however I also seem to recall he had left Ralliart and started his own company, the name of which escapes me. The last time I purchased these gas filled o-rings was maybe 7-8 years ago now so understandably my recollection is a little foggy.
I'll do a little digging and see if I can find out anything more solid. Personally I'd recommend the aluminium bronze sealing rings and I can give you a company in Australia who can produce these for you.
