Hello All,

I signed up some time ago after listening to the great podcasts on Spotify. I am building a turbo Suzuki bandit as many have before but am stubborn so gone a little different.

I have built engine with forged pistons and dropped CR to around 8.5:1.

My plan is draw through turbo location but will draw through throttle body and have 4 runners with injection. So really it’s blow through with throttle body on intake to turbo. Mainly aesthetic reasons for this but also something different as hundreds of turbo bandits with blow through carbs or injection.

going with MicroSquirt ECU, 550cc injectors by Bosch and turbo that is copy but rebuilt with garrett internals and carbon seal to handle vacuum.

Aiming for 220bhp to 250bhp as and engineering challenge. My riding on road would be fine with 140!!!

I signed up to learn the EFI side of things as I grew up and trained in carbs and distributors!

started in classic car restoration many years ago but have worked for 30 years in food industry from fabrication to automation and machining.

I built my 08 R1 turbo, self tuned and currently street tuning it on an emu black stand alone, e85 etc.. just bought the wiring courses so I can re-do my loom with a bit more.. refinement haha!

That sounds like a fun build! I’m fine with wiring, it’s the witchcraft box I need to get my head around :D

Industrial PLCs I have no probs but the whole layout and tables thing is new so looking forward to learning.
