Hello all.
I'm from Melbourne Australia and have a little 2010 Fiesta 1600 that I have gradually been building up into a track/hillclimb toy. Picked it up dirt cheap after the interior was destroyed and was drawn towards its fantastic chassis balance, light weight, and fairly strong Sigma series ford engine. Have stripped it down to 800kgs, has a cage, new suspension, custom full exhaust system, upgraded brakes and a general tidy up. Have just ordered a ME221 system from Motorsport Electronics as they had history with these engines in the UK, although other systems were readily available I was drawn to the price and fact that it was available with a ready to go loom. Looking forward to getting stuck into these courses and learning more. I build and maintain engines for a living but they only do 900 rpm.... they do make 12,000 kw though. These little ones have a lot more electronics than i'm used to!
