Hello from Jacksonville, FL. I'm building a '79 Triumph Spitfire as an autocross/weekend driver. This is by far the biggest project I have taken on, and I’m working my way through each issue as I go. Major modifications include:
* Upgrading to a Toyota 3SGE Beams Blacktop engine and J160 Trans
* Link ECU
* Subaru R160 Diff 4.11 gears W/ Cusco LSD unit.
* GT6 Rear suspension with CV Axles and coilovers
* Front suspension uprated springs
* Drilled and slotted front disc with 80's era Toyota truck calipers
* lots of mods to make all this work as a cohesive unit.
I'm well into the upgrades at this point and looking forward to getting input and advice from this group on any number of topics.
