Hi all, my name is Fahad, I’m from Phoenix, Arizona, I’ve got a Infiniti G35 Coupe (VQ35DE) with a single turbo kit/built motor and ProEFI EMS for tuning purposes. Over the years, I’ve gotten deeper and deeper into cars, racing, etc. I recently found HPA and thought this might be an excellent opportunity to learn more about tuning. Anyways, really looking forward to learning with all of you!

What sort of figures are you getting with the turbo kit? I usually only see super charged over here, no many are willing to invest the extra for turbos

All in I made 607whp & 589 lbs. of torque on E85, the turbo kit consists of a single GT35R turbo w/1.06 T3 exhaust housing, I believe the turbo was maxed out at that point. As far as the engine I'm just running Wiseco 8.8:1 pistons, Brian Crower rods, ACL main & rod bearings, and ARP 2000 head & main studs. I think I've recently been experiencing head lift at high boost levels though (at or beyond 550whp).

What are you using for boost control? it looks a little odd at the top end, is it running a closed loop?
