Cuéntanos un poco sobre ti. ¿Qué coches te interesan?, ¿de dónde eres? y ¿por qué te interesa aprender a tunear?
I'm a garage monkey. Years ago I got my masters in Computer Engineering. In college I was on a FSAE team where we designed, built, tuned, etc a open wheel racecar. Kind of wet my appetite for tinkering! I built up a 1994 Z28 Camaro during that time and unsuccessfully tried tuning it. I caved in and ordered a mail order tune. I traded that car for a C5 Corvette but value my knuckles so I purchased a similar vintage truck a few years ago to tinker with and explore the dusty trails down here. I've not stopped turning wrenches since then. I build a: LQ9 6.0L for the truck, a 4L60E, transfer case, pretty well rebuilt and upgraded everything down to even some of the electronics. Gotten to a point where it's hard to find a knowledgeable base to chat with about concepts and projects I'm doing. Most recently I'm fiddling with some automotive electronic designs and hope to get equipment to design a few mechanical items I have concepts for too. My friends that run shops don't rebuild much, they service vehicles and that's about it. I think they cuvette the idea of building a custom rig but don't have the time so nice to find a group of folks to learn and share with.
Hey Matthew, I'm also from Arizona and run Arizona Rally Association with a few other members. We built our first rally car and are always discussing different aspects of the build and trying to probe our own thoughts on how to go about different projects and could always use another excited and knowledgeable minds to bounce ideas off of. If you're into or curious about rally you should consider coming out to some of our events.
