I'm Tim, from the southern most portion of the mainland, Melbourne, Australia!
I'm a rookie tuner, I am learning as I go. I've built a 2001 Subaru Liberty (Legacy to the rest of the world) with an EZ30 turbo (Precision 6262, T3 flange with a V-band, .83 rear housing) on E85 with a Link G4+ Plug-In. This car has been to a couple of pro tuners were issues have been found and one tuner was a bit enthusiastic with the timing of my old motor which resulted in it lifting the heads (EZ's do not like 30 degrees at 0MGP and 3000RPM with a turbo spooling lol).
This resulted in me taking a keen interest in learning how to do it myself.
If I break something but I write it down, that counts as science, right?

I would agree that amount of timing in that condition sounds "optimistic". Best of luck on your tuning journey!
