Hello HPA
My name is Shane Bryan. I became interested in this course because of my current project. (It was also everywhere I looked in my face, Facebook, youtube Instagram, lol)
I own a 2011 BMW 335i that came with the N55 motor. I grew tired of the constant failures, error codes an what nots. So now I have gotten my hands on 1JZ GTE VVTI engine that I will be swapping in. So far I have purchase a MaxxECU sport ECU for the engine management and a Turbolamik to control a ZF 8HP70 transmission I also purchased to make the swap from my current ZF 6HP.
I hope to learn how to tune both the motor and most importantly the transmission, as this is a growing trend in the street racing and drag world. I cant find much information of how to understand tuning the ZF but I think i need to get the basics first of tuning in general.
