Long time sports car enthusiast who is about to jump into the DEEP end of the pool with a DBW, sequential injection & spark, single Throttle Body on an old Flat 6 3.0L Porsche. Updated and transformed everything but the drivetrain over the past 5 years - so now it's time to modernize the engine and get rid of the clunky looking Bosch CIS fuel injection system. The car runs great. It performs hot and cold starts flawlessly so someone in the 911 world will probably be happy to take that complicated system off my hands at some point in the near future... I've never done anything like this before now, so I am looking forward to the transformation and doing a lot of reading, YouTube watching, following other build forums, and talking to others "in the know". I'll either have a great little car or a somewhat expensive coffee table should it never run again! LOL. I am using Adapt Motorsport single 74mm Bosch throttle body and kit to fit the Porsche 964 alum intake halves. Adapt also provided me with the DBW pedal, injector rails, combination crank & cam sensors, etc. You can find them on the interweb or on Facebook. I have a ECUMaster Black with flying harness to make all of this happen. Hopefully, this summer I will drop the engine for the first time, and slowly transform this into the modern age of engine management. We. Shall. See!

I know I will have some questions here. In fact, I may post one about trying to utilize dual 4.9 wideband sensors in lieu of one. That has me stumped.

Best regards, Patrick in North Carolina
