What if I were tuning a friend or a customer car that doesn't have AFR gauge ? Is there a kit that saves the time and effort of installing an AFR gauge ?
I use the Innovate LM2 as a portable wideband. It's easy to temporarily fit the meter for tuning and then remove it once you're done. I use a suction cup adaptor on the back of the meter so i can stick it to the windscreen. This way you can watch it out of your peripheral vision but you can also log the data into your ECU/dash to review later. For the best results it does require an O2 bung to be welded into the exhaust though.

It's possible to use a tail pipe extension to temporarily fit the sensor in the tip of the exhaust system, however I generally find that these will offer marginal accuracy at idle and cruise. Depending on the size of the exhaust and the style of the tail pipe extension you will usually get reliable readings at WOT and medium to high rpm. Some cars are better and others are worse.
