You mention that .85-.90 is a typical rich setting for higher rpms, but you also say in another video that you like to run .78-.80 for turbo charged engines with high boost. Any clarification on this? What kind of boost are you talking here?
~.89ish tends to produce peak power, the cooling effect of a richer lambda on a tuborcharged system nets the ability to run more boost and/or timing offsetting that.
Also remember that those lambda values are a starting point when you tune your VE table. You can always change the values in the Lambda table in order to see if you make more power without knock. If your injector characteristics are well dialed in, lambda should track without having to make change in your VE table, if you have a true VE fuel model of course.
