I was curious if anyone does VVT tuning during their main tuning session or if it is done as a add on?

It is the 2003 Nissan VQ35DE which does use VVT. I am glad the video is done on a 350z :)
One more question. I have been seeing tunes lately that have flames come out of the exhaust at WOT. Could you please explain the lambda value that does that and does timing have to be overly retarded to get that much sunburnt fuel into the exhaust?
