Hi, I am trying to figure out how to depin a Motorcraft WPT-916 (pics here) This is also found as Volvo 9168863 or Ford 8U2Z-14S411-PA. This is used to connect the active shocks to the suspension computer on my Volvo V70R, the wiring is broken and I need to replace it. I found the connector easily enough on the web but since the one I have is fine, I'd like to reuse it if possible.
Anyone familiar with these?
With most plugs, if the plastic body is in 2 parts, often one in a different colour as with this, then the second plastic bit is the lock that first has to be removed. You probably need to make a little wire hook or use a pick to pull the whole part out. Once that is removed it will become more obvious how to lever the tabs to release the pins.
