Does anyone know of a flow sensor that could be used in an OEM coolant hose, say 34mm?
I had an issue with an EWP failure where the only indication I had of it was the temp alarms/gauges having coronaries risking major baking!
A flow sensor could be an early warning?
If your EWP is controlled by a PDM, then monitoring the current to the pump can be used to detect a failure, and if you get a coolant leak (which often doesn't show up on the temp gauges), you will see the current used go down.
