Does anyone know if I can use a jdm or au ecu in my wrx, or more importantly will it plug and play with my usdm model?
Your best bet is to look up the two ecu pin outs and compare them. There are FSM's available with some google knowledge.
I'm not sure why you would want to do that. My son's car has a JDM EJ20 from a Forester XT with intake AVCS and JDM ecu. He bought the car this way but it came with the extra wiring in the loom to control AVCS. It was for all intents and purposes plug and play.
