Contemplating buying a tool for flashing.
We have a workshop and we deal mainly with European brand cars.
We see a lot of "modified" cars, in terms of possibly previous owners not want to spend money on emissions systems.
Therefore a fair share of cars have DTC deletes and altered emission systems.
This is becoming an issue in troubleshooting problems with these cars.
So swapping back to stock maps needs to be an option.
Also upgrading software in ECM/TCU(including DSG) would be a good option.
Besides that, I have an ongoing interest in practical reflashing to the point, that I want to master something as WinOls.
What master tool would fit better?
Familiar with autotuner capabilities, but I don't see this as a healthy long term investment.
