Hi,
I'm using the GT86 worked example to work on my MX5 NC turbocharged tune. As these seem to be very close at least from a tuning package point of view both using Ecutek and similar strategies.
In the Base Tune File configuration episode, I can't get my head around the engine load limiter function. I mean I understand the change required but want to understand more :
- What is it used for in the first place ? Is it a safety feature / safe to take it to 4-5 rather than trying to get it close to the max load we'll be running ?
- What about the other tables engine load multiplier / compensation ? Should they be scaled/calibrated/removed as well ?
Side question related to engine load. Is there a good strategy to switch to OL based on engine load ?
