I hope everyone enjoyed installing the latest firmware update as much as I did.
As they say no pain no gain.
It's not an insignificant task for sure. What's important to remember is that right now the M1 is very close to the start of its development path so seeing somewhat major changes to the firmware is to be expected. As you say, most of these changes are there for our benefit too. If you used the Mx00 ECUs previously you would remember the major changes that everyone had to get their head around when Motec moved to V3 firmware.
If it's any consolation I think I put about 3 hours work into updating our 86 to the Feb 2015 package earlier this year :)
