Is acceleration enrichment exists in forced inductions engines due to a higher intake manifold pressure?

Acceleration enrichment is needed on any port injected engine as it is in relation to the fuel film on the port walls and valves.
Manifold pressure is the biggest influence on this and acceleration enrichment will need to be adjusted to suit each condition.
