Debate y preguntas relacionadas con el curso Fundamentos de la puesta a punto de la inyección electrónica de combustible (EFI).
I have my car running well, dialed in base map, taken to dyno, and track tested. To get it to idle (no IAC) I set the throttle (cable) to about 3.5% open and set that as the minimum. I did NOT recalibrate the throttle. Everything was just fine. Starts, idles, WOT, transition throttle, all OK.
I decided that I would recalibrate the throttle, mostly so that a track video that incorporates ECU data would show 0% throttle when off throttle instead of 3%. Not a big deal but I thought it was an easy fix.
The car would no longer start. The home setting was Conditional Sync and a throttle setting of max of .5% which I was always above until I recalibrated my throttle. I have set Quick Start set to on. The only way I can get the car to start now is set parameters in the Home signal that it would never obtain to minimum RPM 10,000, max 12,000.
I am setup for direct fire/sequential injection but is not having the home sync and mean this isn't happening?
Hi Jim,
It would really help if you shared the ECU you are using, your tune and a datalog of what is happening
Hi Chris,
Yes I apologize, in my haste to solve this I didn't provide the basics. Haltech Elite 2500. I don't have a log file handy but I figured out what was happening. My home signal was NEVER working, I got the car runned and tuned by basically working around it (any not even realizing it). I went back to basics and saw that my trigger synch level never got beyond Half. I was able to get the Home signal synchronized by changing the edge from Falling to Rising and at least at startup it seems a little happier.
