Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I have an Evo 5 and I am thinking about making a new harness to work with the factory harness to utilise IGN1A coils.
The questions I have is do I need to change settings to work with the new coils or can it be Plug n Play. The instructions for the Haltech IGN1A coils say you need to change the ignition settings to;
Ignition Mode
Installation Dependent
Ignition Edge
Falling
Ignition Dwell Mode
Constant Charge
Its common for Evo owners to change from the 2 wasted spark coils (standard) to= coil on plug which is plug n play and wanted to know if I could get away with doing it with IGN1A coils?
