Hello! I am trying to calculate the mass air flow with MegalogVewer HD. The formula is using a defied values of injector opening time, sequentinal or bathced-simultaneus injection, injector size number of cylinders or injectors and the field mapping are rpm, pulswidth and afr. What exactly injector opening time is referred to ?
What does the formula look like? Is it subtracting the injector opening time from the injector pulse width? If so, then I believe the injector opening time is what we refer to as dead-time (or battery compensation with some ECUs) -- additional time needed before the injector actually flows any fuel, (normally dependent on battery voltage and differential fuel pressure).
