Hi !

There are 2 questions in the quiz regarding the units of AFR (imperial and metrics), as far as i understood AFR is just a ratio of how many grams of air to burn complete qty of fuel (whatever it is) therefore i wasn't expecting any units from it.

I would have understood the question if we were dealing with BSFC where we have a clear unit wether in imperial or metrics and the correct answer to gives looks like BSFC units.

Is there something wrong there of i'm mistaken about AFR ?

Thanks

I don't know the specific question, but as AFR stands for Air Fuel Ratio, I would expect you to be correct in your reasoning - it would be xxx:1. Whatever unit of weight or mass - pounds, grammes, stones, tonnes, or whatever - you use, they would cancel out.

It may be a mistake with thewrong answer linked to the question - is there another question with a puzzling answer?

Thanks for feedback, much appreciated !

Attached pictures enclosed when running the Quiz, looks like BSFC questions not AFR but i'm not an expert yet.

Yup, you're right, those options are for BSFC and NOT AFR - "bit" sloppy making the same mistake twice.

One might argue that if using grammes for the mass, the power should have been in Watts, rather than kilowatts, but that might be a bit picky.

Ok just need to fix this for others and we're done ! ;-)

Thanks for support.
