I am trying to improve the tune on my F150 and I am having a tough time with knock retard. between 1000 rpm and 2000 RPM I'm getting lots and lots of knock retard.. I don't hear a lot of knock in the engine with my audio knock detector at this range which makes me think there is a spark retard parameter that I'm not seeing? Or could other engine issues cause this or overly sensitive knock detection? I've attached a photo showing the extreme knock retard events on my VCM scanner in this RPM range.
