hi i want to ask why we need to add zones when we want to correct the AFR, why we do not just change the value at the point at the uncorrect AFR and when we have to add zones and which way is better add zones or change the value at the critical point
Hi,
What zones are you talking about?
Are those the ones from the picture attached?
hi, yes iam asking for example if we want to adjust the AFR why we have to add zones between to rpm rather than adjust the nubers in the VE directly
I can't quite get the meaning of your question. Can you please provide an example?
Let’s say at 2000 rpm the AFR is not matching the target, but in the VE table there isn’t an exact cell for 2000 rpm. Should I adjust the surrounding cells, or what should I do in this case?
Oh, got it. You can do it either way - it's totally up to you and is the subject to your own opinion what's working best. Sometimes the precision of resolution makes difference so you add additional RPM or load column, sometimes interpolation between close cells is good enough so you change values in them to get what you need- it's completely optional as long as decision taken provides the best result in the area of concern...
Thank you, I appreciate your effort.
