Hi,
I am brand new to tuning and am configuring my Link G4X plug-in on my SR20det 180sx.
I just turned the engine over to confirm trigger signals were being received, trigger 1 shows as no, trigger 2 as yes and there is no rpm being recorded by ecu. I tested out the scope function before using runtime tab and looked relatively normal, after seeing trigger 1 read no on runtime tab i checked scope function again and there is now a big green block as you will see in attached file.
I am also new to reading/understanding the waveforms on a scope so not too sure what I am looking at, in my limited experience it looks like a block of noise?
any help would be greatly appreciated
maybe worth noting - Car ran fine with factory ecu a few weeks ago - haven't touched CAS or any grounds around engine bay.
EDIT - I realized the block is the pull up voltage, turned pull up off and the back on and now is reading fine, would still appreciate some insight to why this might have happened incase it is an issue starting to present itself,
cheers.
If you hit the save option in the scope, you can open the file up as a datalog. This will allow you to zoom in and out and explore the scope pattern properly.
I have a page for doing this in my layouts, as it helps set up new cars quickly
