Hi Im fitting htg gcu which has no built in resistor how close/far in millimeter to gcu should I fit resistor. My bmw m4 shifter has can1 and can2. can1 which has no built in resistor and can 2 has built in resistor. So if I use can1 how close should resistor be fitted to shifter
Generally within 0.5m of the end of the bus is sufficient, although if there is somewhere more convenient, try that and see how it works.
