Mate, I'm trying to build Spec 44 Harness using Concentric Twist but cannot find any suppliers of filler cores - at all. Do you know of any in Australia, preferably WA.

I believe that typically unterminated wires are used for the filler. Although you would think that it would be less expensive to have some different material, but it would need to be rated thermally to not derate the wiring around it, so probably not.

Racespec in the US sells filler core, but it's like 4 times the price of wire... They only use it in the highest end of builds where every gram matters
