Pins A26 and B18 are defined as "Battery Negative".
Do these actually need to ground directly at the battery? Or is it okay to ground these at my star-earth point?
I'm assuming the star-earth is fine, but some manufacturers get picky about that stuff.
Star Earth is fine. These are just used to provide power for the PDM. Output power is expected that each device will have it's own ground path.
