Hi all. I'm not sure if I made a mistake or not, but I wired the cam and trigger VR sensors' pins 1 to sensor ground and pins 2 : Signal
Does anyone know the pinout to the cam and trigger sensors for the 2jz?
I know VR sensors are polarity sensitive. Can I fix a reverse polarity issue by switching from the ECU the signal from rising edge to falling edge? or Do I need to wire the VR sensors correctly?
If the ECU allows you to specifiy the edge, you don't need to change the wiring, just the ECU configuration if it's backwards. You will likely still need some kind of oscilloscope functionality to confirm what polarity is correct.
Do you know if EMU BLACK allows you to specify the edge?
It looks like under the Triggers screen, Ignition - Primary/Secondary Trigger allows to you set the Trigger Edge. It looks like you have a scope functionality under Log->Scope. That should allow you to determine the correct edge.
