Hello brains trust
So im building harness for a boat and well everything needs to be well waterproof since it WILL be under water at some point
To do this id like to extend the EGT wires so they can reach a bulkhead connector attached to a sealed box
Will this affect the signal from the EGT sensors

You need to use special chromel/alumel wire and terminals for connector, in order to extend your thermo-couples. In this way everything will be working like it should.
ok cool so im prob better off potting the EGT to CAN unit
