Am not building cars for racing just doing swap SR20DE front wheel drive with A/T. I am unable to locate pin out for the factory ECU. What advice and where can I get such information. Mg rover 618si. Red top sr20de with distributor. Will be using the ECU that came with the engine.
Which ECU are you using? The one in the car (which is?), or the one that came with the engine (what was the donor car?)?
You may find an electrical schematic online.
Nissan ECUs have a sticker with a 2 digit code on it (for example : J4, 52, WC...). A good way to find the pinout is to use these for a google search, like "J4 ECU pinout". You should be able to find it like this.
Wiring specialties has some of the ecu pinouts depending on the ecu.
If not just search your ecu code and or the model of car engine came from.
