Hello,
I am building a high output Air Cooled VW Engine. 2.1L with a turbo hopefully producing 100HP/L. The engine case is a AS-41 so 4%AL.
I am looking for case sealant reccomendations.
I have heard of Loctite 518/510, Hylomar, Yamabond, and Threebond.
My go-to sealant is threebond and you'll often find this recommended and used at the OE level. There are a variety of different products from threebond but the 1215 product would be suitable for your application.
